Chinese Resturant Sweet and Sour/pineapple Chicken

I looked for old threads but wasnt sure if the recipes were what I was looking for

whenever I go to chinese resturants they have this chicken. its smaller pieces, and with the sauce and stuff its like a golden brown. It ALWAYS comes with pineapples (ive seen it in a few diff resturants) and sometimes peppers and onions too (but I only like the pineapple)

I think its a sweet and sour type... hope so...
I have also seen it with some sesame seeds sometimes

If you're in the US, La Choy makes a sweet and sour sauce. On the inside of the label is a recipe for sweet and sour chicken, with pineapples, peppers and onions. I've made it a few times, and people seem to like it (including me Smile

For a homemade version of the sauce, mix equal amounts tom paste, vinager and sugar, add a splash of soya sauce and water. mix cornstarch with a little water and add to sauce. Boil till thick, stirring the whole time.
