Meshulach came to our door tonight - vent

he smelled of cigarettes. Freaked out my kids, kept staring in the window and banging until my husband came to the door.

We are very tight financially this month, and cash we only had $2. So I took out the last $2 out of my pocket and gave it to him, he waved it off and walked away.

*sigh*

my dh wonders why I close the curtains, they bang on the window if they see someone and stair through the window banging and demanding... it's freaky.

One guy pushed himself into the house and demanded food.

sorry vent - people assume we have money because the house is big (mortgaged to the hilt), and we traveled recently (it was a milage gift from when we got married 2 years ago and were just using it now). But I do not like to advertise that we are struggling. We are second time around, blended family and sadly the economy sank after we got married and finances are tight. I have been unable to find a job, nor has my husband... Except bagging groceries, but he will not let me do that work and is too embarrassed to take that job.

we both have degrees, mine is in the medical field (no one is hiring except for the correctional facilities and the county hospitals, but for safety he will not let me work there). His is in CPA, but there are no jobs right now.
