I find it's very heavy, which for me personally is a big drawback. _________________ That's the way the cookie crumbles...

I have it. My sister has it. my other sister has it.
I love the look and the fact that it's quite compact and actually fits thru most doors. For the life of mine I wouldn't be able to push one of those bigger "trucks," er strollers.

Why bad? I was fortunate to borrow one when I needed it...it's the only double I could get in the trunk of my little hatchback; a definite PLUS for me! I didn't find it heavy, and it was easily pushable up a hill with 45-50lbs of little people in it (toddler & infant). _________________ Emmanuel Tzvi: 26 Shevat 5766

I love mine. But I'm using it for twins. I have heard a couple people say it's a little hard to maneuver with 2 kids of very different weights, but that my be true of most double strollers. I don't find it heavy at all, and I used to schlepp it in and out of my trunk daily. The single ped perego I had for my oldest weighed more then this double. Also, my mclarens (I have a single as well) have held up well through a lot of travels; very sturdy and well built.

I was happy with mine. I am not using it any more, but I am holding onto it for now none the less. _________________ Liba, mommy to Zlata Tova 5/6/98, Tziporah Faiga 1/12/01, Esther Rivka 7/13/04 and Avraham Chaim 7/2/2006

I loved mine because it was so LIGHT!! And, as someone said, it fits through most doors. Also, since the kids sit side by side it's easier crossing streets without having to so far out in front of you. (I lived in Boro Park when my kids were little--this may be less of an issue elsewhere, where people don't drive like absolute maniacs!

| I found them like un-stable maneuvering wise, believe it or not, although Graco strollers are less expensive and not as "in" as some of the more expensive ones such as maclaren, inglesina, and even bugaboo, they are pretty lite and easy to handle and fold. I can say this because I've used them all, minus the bugaboo, which my friends adviced me not to buy because of issues they've had. Good luck finding a suitable stroller.

I love mine. It's strong and you can hang anything you want on the handles. (I go shopping on the bus) _________________ Everything is in the hands of heaven, except for fear of heaven

My issues with it are:
1- If you put a heavy kid in it (meaning more than 15 pounds) it is very hard to push.
2- It fits through my doorway, but just barely- getting in and out is a big struggle every time.
3- My kids can reach each other too easily. My 14 month old fed my 4 day old baby a cookie in it, and even back then they were way to heavy to push. Now, forget about it.
On the other hand, it has held up well and has decent baskets and hanging space on the handles. It is extremely convenient for taking in cars.

Also, I found it hard to push because I'm short (only 5 feet) _________________ If He brought you to it, He will get you through it - Hut bitachon

People like it for the conveniences. It's not big, not expensive, easy fold. BUT it is not easy to push.
My sister has it, but her kids are tiny & she is strong. She doesn't mind the push, because she wanted something that she can fold & pack away at home. I borrowed it for a short while, before I bought my double & had a murder time pushing it. I felt like I was working really hard, I was not used to the double handles. My strollers have the straight across bar for pushing.
Other reasons that I didn't like it, but that are not limited to this stroller. The kids face the street. It's a side by side- the kids fight & it's wide.
I ended up with the phil n teds vibe & love it.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I have a lot of sister-in-laws and before I had kids (now am pregnant with 4th), they all had the Maclaren double. I suppose 5 years ago there wasn't as much selection or all these easy-to-push big wheel strollers.
Yes, they liked that it's light. But good luck actually pushing it. I would work up a sweat trying to push my nieces and nephews.
There are so many other choices now, why torture yourself trying to push a stroller that doesn't wheel (and other strollers are much cozier for the kids too...that's a big priority for me)?
I was avant-garde by getting a Baby Jogger at the time (way too heavy), but now the Citi Mini version seems to give you light and easier-to-push at the same time. That's what the former Maclaren clientele seem to be liking.
Right now, my kids (4,3,1) just pile into my B.O.B. (my favorite of all).

| I love my double maclaren, never thought twice about how much it weighs, never was an issue for me. Then again I don't use it so often maybe I would feel differently if I used it every day.

I love mine!
I bought it when I had my kids 23 months apart.
One thing I made sure was to buy the Techno.
Most pple that told me not to buy it had the travelers which has much smaller wheels.
You should also look at the size of your kids. My kids are average to the smaller size so it works great for me.
The best part is that it folds into the car and closet. I have a small apt. and did not want a carraige in my Dining room as all my friends and siblings have.
It is a little heavy to push but all other reasons override.
I don't know if they still sell it the way I bought it but I got the light muff for each seat to keep the kids warm and they help the blankets from falling.
It is worth every penny! especialy that it is cheaper then most double strollers that look so pretty!

depends on the size of your kids (which changes throughout use!)
but it definitely does NOT roll through snow, if that is important to know.
For maneuverability and weight, my favorite one was the Zooper, fits through all doors, pivots on itself, folds flat and stands alone. Plus each kid has a separate, full seat with bar in front. Plus all accessories come with (boot, rain cover, sun cover).
