How long can a prepared bottle of formula stay out of the fridge?

I think a couple hours Confused
however as it's summer I'd def. keep it away from sun and/or ideally have an ice pack with me.

As far as I remember - the official answer is one hour.
One of the most useful things I bought was a special formula container - a little round plastic container divided into three sections and the lid has a special kind of opening. Not too expensive and I used it tons!
That way when you are going out, you just prepare the bottle with water and only add the powder when the baby is ready for it.

in the hot sun I would only keep it for one hour. I also bought powder formallla for journeyes and trips.

I bought the container that had 3 compartments and like that I knew that I had 3 "bottles" whenever I needed it. I would just add water.
