Anyone have a recipe for cooked meatballs that's egg free? or do you know of a substitute for egg that would hold the balls together.
Thanks!

| I made hamburgers in the oven yesterday with babyfood peas. (Well, I did use one egg, but substituted the rest. ) I don't really have a recipe, because I just "go with the flow,", but it was basically one jar per lb. of meat, matza meal and spices.

| I used a recipe that involved maple syrup instead of egg -- my dd was allergic to eggs for a while. I don't think it was an exact recipe, so just wing it. It was absolutely delicious.

| I used soya milk instead, and fried them - was perfect.

I use unsweetened apple sauce in place of eggs, when I need my meatballs to be egg free. They come out really good. _________________ Really Awesome Mom!

I also only use the meat (mine are also usually only turkey). I just ball them up and drop them into bubbling sauce of any variety. It's light and yummy. _________________ Just Plain Frum!
