65 years ago today the village where my grandparents lived in hungary was deported. Lets stop and take a moment to reflect. Whilst we run to the stores to grab the pizza's and bagels and life goes on and we wish each other "a gezinte summer" the jews of hungary never even got to pack away their pesach dishes as they were shoved into the ghetto's prior to deportation to concentration camps. My grandparents, your grandparents, cousins, aunts and many family names simply wiped out.
Lets take these few moments in our day to remember
