I run a school office too! gold21, maybe we should get together and commiserate. Wink

ME too, I'm a secretary for a sheitel macher. Anybody want an appointment???????? Great Service....

yeah how bout parents venting to you on the phone about everything from televisions falling on their 2 year olds (!) to complaining that we dont allow them to have a choice of 3 meat dishes delivered to their third grader on a daily basis from an expensive restaurant (ooh but he needs a few options every day. whatever food choices he doesnt want he can give to his friends.)
and teachers with COPIES and problems with the copy girls and pleeease can you make me a last minute copy now if I give it in on time tomorrow...?
and bussing problems! kids sitting on busses for 2 hours and busses arriving at school 20 minutes late....
and ed coordinators always rushing, forgetting half the things they need to do....

or teachers who KNOW report card grades are due but somehow don't get them in for another 4 days and hold up ALL the report cards -

and kids who want a late note and get upset if you don't give it to them (sorry, shmoozing with your friend in the bathroom is NOT an excuse) -

and my personal favorite, principals who say "I need you to do this NOW" even though you're in the middle of a million things and it's not YOUR fault that they forgot about it until the last second -

and I think I need to buy stock in band-aids.

wouldn't trade my job for anything!

They call me office manager here- basically a 1 girl office and I take care of just about everything from bookkeeping, secretarial, babysitting the bosses kids, customer service, sales, and just everything to hold the business together. I work for new home developers.

I'm the CEO's secretary. I do the Company's bookeeping and all the other jobs that don't fit in for the other employees "job title". Like special projects, personal business errands etc.. B"H, I've got a real colorful job! Laughing

Yups I am! In my office I'm the secretary plus everything else. It's a one girl position.

And I'm a graphic designer.....see dewyt's new business advertisement lol

And most importantly, I'm a mom2be!!! Very Happy
