By mistake I bought Beit Yosef- Crown Heights Kosher roast

Do any Chassidishe people eat that Hechsher? How does it compare to other Hechsherim?

What brand? I'm almost positive, that CHK is usually an additional hechsher, not the only one.

Crown Heights Kosher is a chassidishe shchita. Maybe others don't agree with my definition of "chassidishe", but I'm Lubavitch and I wouldn't buy meat with any other hashgacha/shchita (without the CHK, I mean). Some Chassidishe people (meaning Chassidishe people who aren't Lubavitch, in this case) will eat anything glatt, some will only eat one or two types, so I am not sure what that will tell you. To me, this is the best hashgacha a food or meat could have, but I don't know if that means anything to you. Smile

beis yosef is a sephardi hashgocho, and I have been told extremely stringent at that. and CHK is lubavitch. so if you feel comfortable with those two, then you have a very fine supper at hand.

Bet yosef is stricter then any chassidish hechsher.

we mostly use the yekke hechsher (KAJ) cuz we are yekke, and we also trust a few others like Vineland. but sefardic hechsherim are known to be very strict. they dont mess around with kashrus. I believe they are very trustworthy.

Bait Yosef is not a hechsher. It's a standard. It's a stricter glatt.

In Israel I don't think the really frum/yeshivish sefardim will even eat it.

I know from a lubavitch shochet that beit yosef is one of the strictest sechita .

willow- in Israel Bait Yosef is a lower hechsher that its counterparts, while is America it has more chumros than other American hechsherim.

on anothe note this post makes me really happy because NOW me and my chabad friends have some middle ground and might be able to eat by each other's houses!
