My washer makes a loud noise

I just got a new washing machine/dryer (LG Electronics 4.0 Cu. Ft. IEC Extra Large Capacity Front Load Washer) and while I am very pleased with the results, I dont know what to do about one thing - the washer shakes very strongly at some points and makes a very loud noise doing that - I read in a couple of places that that means it is 'imbalanced' but I dont really get what that means and what I have to do about that. Anyone had such a thing and know what to do?

the whole washer is not level. there are little legs on the bottom, you have to adjust them to make it even. maybe there's a tile that lower or the floor is not even. so just turn them like a screw and even out the machine. the machine is heavy so you gotta ask someone to help you tilt it back to adjust it.

Thanks but I'm not sure thats the problem bec. it doesnt always do that - I cant figure out when (like, if its happening with a small wash only or not)...anything else it could mean?
