| I have a pair of really nice travel ones that I love and refuse to switch to something "nicer", on the other hand my friend dreams of having a large candelabra instead of individual candlesticks.

| I had nice leichter that I used for 10 years. Ex hid them so I could not take them with me when I got divorced. When I mentioned that to my former friend, she laughed. Turns out he took them for her! I didn't know that they were seeing eachother! My kids told me that she actually lights them every friday night in addition to hers!!! To me that is like wearing your former friends underwear! Anyway, I use something I found at Marshalls and it holds 5 t-lights....whatever--- I'm still welcoming shabbos either way...

Amother to me that's like wearing someone's wedding ring or something else that has a personal value.
Doesn't she feel guilty lighting it every week?

I have a variety of candlesticks. The ones I use the most are the laser-engraved plexiglass that my uncle gave me when I got married, and a pair of blue candle holders for the tealights I light for my boys. I have a shallow set (tealights) that I keep at my MIL's. And I light in olive wood candlesticks for the 3 regalim.
I have several other sets, however. _________________ Emmanuel Tzvi: 26 Shevat 5766

Hey, she was also seeing her dh, so how much guiltier should she feel?
I use the 2 silver leichter that my mil bought and picked. I WANTED TO PICK IT!! IT'S NOT MY TASTE. And I'm still not used to it, but I use it. As for the rest, almost every time I had a baby, I bought a new cheap set. The last time, one kept on breaking and I had enough, so I have 2, 2, and 1. They're all glass and individual, btw. _________________ Don't take whatever I say too seriously, this is entertainment for me .

you are right--I don't like the comparison to underwear---I just meant it is something personal and a normal person would not want to use someone else's leichter. She probably told him to take it for her. She doesn't feel guilty. She is a sick human being and gets satisfaction lighting my leichter every week. She wanted to take over my life...it has to be some sort of sickness---she is evil.
Sorry I did not mean to get off the topic...when I saw this thread --this is what I felt....

That really upset me. Obviously she is not the nicest person but to do it in front of your kids shows what a horrific person she really is _________________ Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.

| Just to be DLKZ, maybe she has no idea that they were yours? Maybe your ex-DH just gave them to her and didn't mention anything else?
