What's the best way to go about selling my shaitel?

I have never really liked my shaitel and it's finally bothering me enough to do something about it. It's a shevy blonde 14 inch, side bangs and layers. I want to try and sell it and get the most I possibly could for it but I do not know how to go about doing this. I originally paid around 2500 maybe a little more. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about doing this? Any info would be really appreciated!

If you donate it, you will get a tax write off, but it's pretty hard to get good money for a used sheital. Fix it as best you can and enjoy it.

I forgot to say it's only 2 years old, I dont know if that would make a difference, not really worn all that much.

My natural color is much blonder and my hair was much longer before I got married, I thought I would go a little shorter for tznius reasons but I only ended up being miserable. I find this mitzvah one of the hardest for me, so if I got a shaitel which I really like I feel like it will make it a little easier. I also had beautiful thick blonde hair before, the type where people used to ask me to grow it for them to make a shaitel from, so it makes it even harder.

how much money did you pay for your sheitl and how much money did you sell it for?

Does anyone know of someone who does this in Brooklyn? Or even Northern Jersey?

I have a really nice dark brown/auburn Shevy, inches past shoulders. It is a great shaitel with great cut but not my color. I wanted dark blonde/light brown and had it dyed but it is now this beautiful auburnish color. I would keep it but I'm sick of the "I didn't know you had red hair" comments, though it really is a great shaitel. Because of this it is not so worn though it is about 2+ years old bec. I was always self conscious about the color.
