Baby needs glasses

my 8 month old sometimes gets cross eyed in one eye. It is not always but occasionally. We went to the eye doctor and they told us he needs a patch for like 2-3 months ann then we need to come back since he probably needs glasses--
I know this is not the end of the world...I know its not a big deal...im still a little sad for my child.

B"H that they're catching it so soon! I hope this means they can actually cure the problem (BE"H)! (Speaking as someone for whom this wasn't caught until too late.)

And babies in glasses do look very cute...

There was a thread about this recently called "HELP just got the diagnosis" or something similar, try to find it, there was a lot of advice in it.

My son has a patch - he's 8, if I had caught it when you did he'd probably never need glasses instead he will always need them, besides for the fact that patching an 8 year old is probably much more difficult than a baby. Be proud of yourself for catching it early. You just made it much easier on yourself. and I agree babies with glasses are adorable.
