Washing tichels

Last time I tried washing the Israeli kind of tichel in the regular wash it changed color (used to be my favorite, now ugly) and the texture changed too - not as smooth now. How do you wash them?

wash tichles in a washing net - the tichel should be inside out and put the temperature on delicate/cold water.

if your tichels are delicate, definately hand wash them in cold water. if they are extra dirty, you can soak them in the cold water and gentle detergent before really washing them by hand. and lay them flat to dry so that they keep their shape.
