Need host gift ideas

Friends have graciously offered to let my parents stay with them for five days since we are in the middle of moving and my apartment can at best be classified as a nuclear hazard site Shocked

My mom wants to buy them a gift, anyone have ideas? It doesn't have to be dafka something "American", but has to be something she can easily put in her suitcase, not sure how much time they will have to shop on this end this trip. TIA!
