| My DH is looking into becoming an A and P Mechanic. It is very usual and we don't know anyone in that profession. Does anyone know anyone who is an A and P Mechanic? Any information would be very much appreciated!

| The “A” stands for airframe and the “P” stands for powerplant. They fix commercial aircrafts, nuclear power plants ect.

Thank you Greenfire... My DH loves to do what he enjoy. Our concern is not social expectations. He loves to work with his hands and loves fixing things. I belive that he would love the job. Our concern is the work enviroment / co-workers. They seem to be very low class... He went to the school today and he wasn't so happy with the look of the students. The person he spoke to from the school said that they have had some jews and "hassidim" from Monroe in the school. He will discuss that issue with our Rav but we would also love to somehow track down other frum men in the feild.

My brother (not religious) was in the US Navy for 10 years active duty and then in the Reserves.
He learned hydraulic repairs and worked in that civilian field until he had an unrelated injury that prevents him from working. From what he's told me, there's a lot of goofing around- he's told us alot of stories about pranks and stuff. Not sure it's a "clean" work environment.... It could be that that was just his experience in that one company.
