Here is the deal: DH 35th b-day is in two weeks and I have no clue what to get.
He is the kind of guy who woud say "Gift is not what the person needs, but what the person WANTS". He is into personal stuff.
Any ideas from the wise imamothers??????

| Don't forget, he has a birthday every year. If you make it very fabulous, you will have a lot to live up to on a yearly basis.

| I'm planning on buying my dh a kos and maybe engrave his name on it with a note of may we use this every week for the next 120 years iy"h. You really could take anything that he needs and make it personal. You have to say a little bit more about your dh about what he likes.

Out of all the gifts I bought my husband, his favorite is still one of his first gifts a few years back (haven't gotten too many since then, TBH). I got him a beautiful vintage looking valet from Bombay Company. He loves it, it's practical, he uses it all the time, and (surprise!) even started putting his stuff where they belong once I got that. _________________ Live the life you want to live. The two best gifts I bought DH were a 12 string guitar (he's a musician) and a man's wedding ring with "ten li yadecha b'yadi" engraved inside. he doesn't wear it (we run in frummer circles) but he likes having it, and he puts it on if he has to do business with non-jews.
it does depend on what he does or likes to do.

Thanks everyone.
Can't say he has hobbies, but (a bit to reveal ) he is a Hatzolah member and a freshly made paramedic (actually, the best gift for that - top of the line stethoscope, I got him last year. In that sense, CM is right - I cannot top that, lol). He would like anything EMS related, I guess.
HTH.
