Cleaning Mirrors

As much as I try I can't get my mirror clean. It gets on my nerves!! Any ideas?

I use my husband's old white cotton shirts with windex. The shirt leaves no dust behind, nor residue and I found that out of all the shmattas it works best.

Microfiber also leaves no traces of dust. It works wonders!

If it's an old, old mirror, it could be 'sick", I.e. the silvering is coming off the back and oxidizing, or the surface of the glass itself is scratched. afaik there is no cure for "sick" mirrors. Minor scratches can sometimes be polished away with toothpaste or Bon Ami powder.
