New Booster Seat Law

As quoted from Yeshiva World:
"Earlier this month, a law went into effect increasing the top age of children who are required to use booster seats. The age went from 7 to 8."

apparently there is a ticket blitz going on targeting car seat violations.

can anyone recommend a good booster for a 7 year old??

graco has a good backless booster. I think they are $15 at Walmart or $19 at Target.

We have had the 8 years old & 4'9" law for a while now. Almost 2 years.

I use backless for my older kids - even though high-back are better, I use them for the younger ones with the harness threaded thru. I have one like this graco booster but in a different print. I also have this cosco in a different pattern. The cosco seat isn't as padded as the graco, but no one's complained yet.
They usually run about $20 in stores on sale.

if you want one you can use from age one all the way through age 8 (so you can pass it on to a younger child if you have one), the graco nautilus is fantastic.
