The recipe says instant rice or instant orzo but I made myself crazy looking for instant orzo and couldnt find it. I used regular orzo and it took longer to cook so the next time I undercooked the chicken so it didnt dry out. But I tried using broken pasta (I used feducchini) and my family likes it better.

the purple cabbage salad is delicious!! I've made it countless times w/ company over and e/o loved the flavor and the colors are so pretty..
*Roasted zucchini garlic soup was a big hit here (and we are not such soup fans. but majorly into garlic)
*strawberry apple crisp is a really nice change on an apple crisp/kugel.. (big recipe...makes 4 9 inch rounds.. but I like making the full recipe and putting them in the freezer to pull out as needed)
*apple buns.. heavenly dessert

MOCHA CAKE
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup boiling water
- 1/4 cup instant coffee
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
Coffee glaze:
- 1 tsp instant coffee
- 1 Tbsp hot water
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 3 Tbsp oil
Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 12-cup bundt pan; set aside.
Mix flour, cocoa,and baking powder in a medium bowls. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix boiling water, coffee, sugar, and oil. Mix until coffee and sugar is dissolved. Add eggs and vanilla sugar. Mix well. Add flour mixture to the egg mixture, whisk to combine.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 50 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove cake and let cool completely on wire rack.
Coffee Glaze:
Whisk coffee and hot water in small bowl. Add confectioners sugar and oil and mix until smooth. If glaze is too thick, slowly add more water, about 1/8 tsp at a time. Drizzle glaze over cooled cake.
