I meant to try it...oh well, it will have to wait...between all the honey cakes and your PB-choc. cupcakes, there is no more room! |
Is this the recipe?

Do you have a recipe for the salmon skewers - I'd like to make some for the second night.
I'm looking for something to serve them with as well. |
From Yihiyetov: I have one I think from the bina or mishpacha, I use it a ton!
3 tbl teryaki sauce
3 tbl ketchup
3 tbl brown sugar
I tend to double or triple this...delish
I marinate this with the salmon cubes in a baggy first for an hr or so.. put on skewers with quartered mushrooms and cherry tomatoes... I sprinkle sesame seeds..very pretty! then bake open 20 min on 350,
I plan on serving it over spaghetti salad (spaghetti, scallions sliced thin, equal amounts soy sauce, sugar and oil)

Bracha C or anyone else that has it (and some time) please can you post the faux potato kugel?
My real potato kugel is also 1 - 2 points depending on how big I make the slices. It's easy. I just leave out the oil. Grease the pans a bit better than usual (leave a bit extra oil on them) pre-heat the pans in the oven while making the kugel. Tastes great. Not like kugel with oil but pretty good anyway. Fresh and hot from the oven noone can tell the diff.

Here's the pomegranate salad recipe.

2021 BUMP
Anyone making something that's
1- a new slant on an old favorite, or
2- a totally new recipe that you just got from someone who is raving about it...?
In other words anything but the old classics, made the old classic way.
If yes, can you please post the recipe or a link to the recipe?
TIA

There's already some discussion on this: it's the creamy potato bundt thing in Family First a few weeks ago. It's a takeoff on the doughless meat knish. I have one in the freezer. I have no idea how it tastes but it looks just like the picture.

And I just landed on this thread, but can't remember if another thread linked to it: https://www.imamother.com/foru.....92395
Generally though, I stick to old faithfuls. Unless I come across something. But I don't actively look for anything. Enjoy!
