Source? I knew about the kohein, levi, yisrael thing but almost everyone who I know (ourselves included) had the party at home.

Source is my fil who was told at Yechidus, the day of dh's upsherin. Maybe it should at least start at a shul, etc... w/ a kohein, levi and yisroel.
