my son is 15 months old & there are flu shots available in my Dr.'s office. I am trying to decide if I should get one for him. My Dr says he doesnt encourage it but doesnt discourage it either. Does anyone know why he would say that? Are there any disadvantages to getting 1? Did anybody get 1 for their child? Did anybody not get one & then their child got the flu?

I am not giving my kids the flu shot becuase it contains toxins and that can effect them in the future.

You know your children are growing up when they stop asking you where they came from and refuse to tell you where they are going

it's recommended for babies between 6 months and 2 yrs.

we didn't get one for our baby b/c there is a shortage and we would have to go far to get it. besides, my husband is not to keen on the idea.
I would have rathered she had it, but now I feel I have to keep her isolated as much as possible so she won't get exposed and not let anybody touch her (relatives excluded, of course.) am I being too overprotective?

My son of 15 months had both the first and second flu shot, along with my 3 1/2 yr old daughter.
The first time your child gets the flu shot, it comes in two doses.
I recommend it but on the other hand my friend got all three of her kids the flu shot and all of her kids came down with a very bad case of the flu a month later.

If you are interested in giving your child the flu vaccine my doctor told me you dont have to give it if your child is healthy otherwise you should give it. also 6 months to 2 years it is recommended.

Flu vaccine is an educated guess by the scinetists -
every ear a different virus causes it, and vaccine is a combination of previous years' viruses + some toxins, canserongenic preservative formaldehide and other junk.

Only people at risk (old, sick and with specific health issues) should get it.
