I don't live in Baltimore anymore but I always wonder if I know any of the people who post from Baltimore.

I like the method of setting up a meet where people PM you for the time and place. Otherwise you are bound to have some lurkers who come and check out the situation but don't actually introduce themselves (I know I'd do that. )

I prefer the JCC for meets, lots of room and decent food. I like Golderg's, but if you've ever tried to meet up with more than one person there, it's very hard because the acoustics are terrible and you can't hear anyone.

Anyways, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Let's see if anyone will actually meet up!

I'm interested. I think Caramels is the best since it is both large and kid-friendly (in case any of us have to bring our kids).

Caramels is right near my work, so if it was a weekday, I'd be able to pop in for a bit during lunch.
Sundays either mean bringing the kids along (not sure if they'd be happy, but I have never tried Wink

) or if it's this Sunday (which I doubt is good because of Chanuka) my husband could watch the children....

This Sunday is definitely not good for me. However, lunch during the week can sometimes work for me. I love Caramels.

Is there a time that would be convenient for people so we could actually sit down for a little bit, rather than people just "stopping in"? What kind of meet is that?

If we made it a set time like 12:30 on a weekday, I could sit there for a half hour or so.

Well, wouldn't it have to be a set time? I'm not sitting all day in a pizza shop waiting for people to show up. If we have a meet, it'll have to be at a specific time, and people will have to show up on time if they want people to be there.
