Anybody having a hard time with Yahoo mail today or is it just me?

Someone opened a yahoo account today in my name when they charged my credit card for 4 iphone covers on sears.com !

Step 1 call sears to cancel the order. Step 2 cancel your credit card. Step 3 dispute the charges. Step 4 call sears again to get the UPS tracking number. Step 5 call ups to refuse shipment. Step 6 cry some. Step 7 cry some more. Step 8 wait for new credit card 2-4 weeks. Step 8 wait for the crdit card company to mail you a letter that the charges were fraud, then step 9 take that letter plus a million other papers to the local police precinct for a police report. Step 10 hope that in 90 days my money comes back step 11 daven that it doesn’t happen to you.

Whoa Shaklee, what's it got to do with Yahoo? Sounds awful. I had that one year ago- someone pulled my wallet from my bag and charged $600 at Marshall's. B"H I got it back, as it was on a debit card. If yours is credit, you have nothing to worry about.

How did you discover it?

Well, I logged into my paypal account this morning to see if I’m any richer from yesterday and sure enough I was a pauper! When I called sears.com I asked, what did “I” order and they said…. So I’m like, which address is it going to, I was sure Pakistan. MY ADDRESS! So then I was surprised, which email address? It was my first name, with and underscore, my last name, @yahoo! Can’t you holler!?

I don't get it. Doesn't paypal have your email? How can someone get in with a fake address, if they don't know your password, nothing? Confused

And what good would the iphone covers be to the thief if they were at your house? Unless they were planning to intercept them...
