You know those cute pictures near your name? I want to add one. I made my picture 80 by 80, but I cant figure out how to make it less KB's. anyone with experiance can share! thanx Help

Sometimes you have to resize even smaller thats what I have found then 80x80.
Keep playing and it will happen also I sharpen only after I've minimize that helps for the quality of the pic too.

Does it have to be saved as a gif, a jpg, a tif... ( I see it is realy a private, confidential issue, that is why she is replying as amother Wink

My avatar was a little too big, even at 72 dpi and 80 pixels wide, so I changed it to 60 dpi, and it's small enough.
I have it saved as a gif image.

Yay! It worked! Very Happy

I cropped the image to 80 by 80 in Photoshop, then I saved it as a low quality jpg.

do you like my picture? I LIVE on coffee!

I've been trying to put pictures on for a while. How do you get the file size to be less than 6kb?

I tried to copy a picture that I pasted onto microsoft word and it didn't work.

I'm not sure how to do it w/ other software.
I resized everything in photoshop.
