Anyone bought a Royal Custom sheitel??? And if they have how good has it kept? I am dying for a new sheitel but I can't afford another Freda unelss I rob about 5 banks and I don't have the time for that.
So I know a couple of people who just bought a royal custom and it looks really nice, but they havn't had theirs for long, so I am wondering if they last longer than a couple of years.

What about Jaffa? Or is that below your standard? I finally bought a custom after 7 years - buying a new wig for 250$ ever year and having enough of it - and I am very happy I finally did. I think the dollar-price is $ 700... if that is somewhere were you don't need to rob a bank Wink

I dunno, I work in pounds, the Royal custom costs about £300, which is about $600 I can't afford it yet, but at least it's achievable and I will start to save up rather than tell myself I can only get a £1000 sheitel and because that aint ever gonna happen quit kidding yourself and get one when you win the lottery. But I really don't like spending even £100 in a go. I was just wondering if anyone here bought a Royal Custom. I am used to a custom in a box, I don't think I can afford to get used to proper customs.

The hair is amazing, but I didn't like the net
but the company is so young you couldn't know how it will look in a year or two

Has anyone here tried buying 1 from E-Bay. I have and I really like them.
Some are synthetic, but I really end up liking them and my friends could not tell the difference.

Oh right, what did you find wrong about the net?? Was it uncomfortable? Or just not made properly.

Ok, my sheitel I have now is a Frieda, yes I love it, yes I wish I could afford another one, but the fact is I don't have that kind of money, so I need to go down a bit, but I can't get something synthetic or not custom out the box like because I am used to this Frieda.
So I am just wondering what the Royal is like, if it's worth me spending a couple 100 on it or not. I can't afford 1000 anyway even if I wanted.
If I were rich I would go for another Frieda deffinately.

If this is the same Royal wig company that is sourced in Monsey (although she has retailers all over the US) I have one and absolutely love it. I wear my Royal wig daily, hair is beautiful and I just need to wash (I do myself) and plop it on the styrofoam head and it dries back to its original silkiness and I don't need to blowdry it. For the $350 or so that I paid for it I'm thrilled.

I bought one in Israel in 2006 , hair is still good and silky but I got a baldspot in the front 1 year and a half later after buying it . I still wear it as a fall and it looks cute.

bottom line It was not a shevy but not junk either , a good value shaitel.

I use it to give birth Wink
