| we had a gas stove in our old apartment and I miss it!!! I really don't like having an electric stove I miss having a pilot light for yom tov, I dont like leaving the electric burner/s on all shabbos and yom tov.

My oven is broken and I am doing research to purchase a new one-hopefully before Rosh Hashana- I have always had a gas oven-- but mine is old and without sealed burners so I could disconnect the electricity and use the oven top on Yom Tov. now it is alot more complicated attached is web site for start K they have all the info on the ovens there-- a lot of ovens have a shababt mode ( really yom tov mode) -- but I am so confused because there are so many choices

this is the oven which I got for my new house the top is gas the ovens are electric I love it....on yom tov I have to leave a burner on because the starter is electric its ok I always put a pot or two of water on to be used for coffee or poridge whatever
here is a link its an odd size we were moving into a brandnew house so I was able to spec the cabnitry so it could fit I dont know if you have that option
