Hello All,
I am trying to learn Hebrew now.
I am pretty much starting from scratch. I can read it, but do not understand very much of it.
Those of you with kids in school, what books do you find helpful and could recommend?
Any help is appreciated.

| The books my children learn from don't have English instruction, or translations. Is that important to you?

For biblical Hebrew, I highly recommend The First Hebrew Primer, which teaches not only vocabulary but verb forms, etc. For modern Ivrit, there are a lot of sets of tapes, computer cds, etc out there; if you're in the US, try your public library system first to try things out. Some have free access to Rosetta Stone and other online or interactive language teaching systems. _________________ Mommy to 5 bli ayin hara, with medical issues including mental health, brain damage, GI disease, developmental delay
