My daughter has a very hard time falling asleep at night. She goes to bed about 8 o'clock and sometimes doesn't fall asleep before 12 am!!
She is iy"h starting first grade and I want her to have a good night's sleep so she should go to school feeling rested, which is very important especially in first grade.
Is there any advice anyone can offer?

| my daughter is the same way - what does she do before she goes to bed? perhaps she needs to do more energetic activities prior to bedtime to let out the energy... or maybe she really doesnt need that much sleep - is she tired and cranky the next day? does she nap during the day - maybe cut the nap.... and when all else fails have her count sheep - she'll be sleeping in no time!!!
