I don't get the rain. (Please don't tell me that rain is a bracha, I've heard it before - numerous time) It rained all shabbos. All motzei shabbos. And now, it's POURING again!!!!

I've lived through floods that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy - these are inside floods and leaks and I just can't take it! Can't we have a little less rain? Please?

As long as we don't have any flooding, I enjoy the rain. I love the sound, and love it when it gets dark outside.
Thankfully, even though we got a lot of rain over shabbos, our garden did ok.
I've been watching the radar all morning, and there are heavy systems all around me, but none are actually hitting!

Come to glorious Israel. Where summer lasts from about April till November. You can plan any activity outside and it won't be ruined by rain. You know it's going to be hot/warm and sunny. No taking a jacket. What a pleasure.

It's not fun when the rain decides to visit the indoors of your house. If it's pouring and I'm in the house then I love it.

Yeah, drumjj, I think it's funny reading all these Americans complaining about their weather.

We haven't had one dry day in about 4 months!!!!

I love the rain. It means my husband won't urge me to take our kid to the playground. I detest playgrounds.

Must I decide which is the lesser of two evils? I realize, after my weekend, you'll think I'd go with playground. But you're wrong!

We've also been having lots of rains and floods over here. my daughter came home with some homework - something to do with global warming, and how to stop it. She'd been told by her teacher (and I think this is true) that it is global warming that is causing this crazy weather. so she had to write a list of things she can do to stop global warming. but she got the wrong end of the stick and was writing down ways to conserve water. Laughing

Yeah I wish we could send a few rainy days to Israel.

really, I don't mind if it rains on a school day. but the whole summer? we had to cancel almost every outdoor trip in our daycamp.

It really hasn't rained in a while... so yeah, a bit on shabbos and a bit today. It's not that big a deal. What
The last thing I would think is "that's a lot of rain."

I'm not! NY gal here.

As for not complaining, when you have a river running through your basement, water under your bed, running down the walls of your dining room and from the ceiling in your kitchen, call me.
