Toy recommendations

What can I buy for two girls for their birthdays? They are four and six years old and don't have too much space because they live in an apartment. Any ideas? Also, is there a website for best toys for this age?

Are they sisters? If they are, something they can play with or do together maybe.

Get them each a box of arts and crafts supplies? Or scrapbooking stuff?
