For me it's milk creamy nutty chocolate two layers, like Schmerling or Alperose .
Whats yours and do u refrain some of the time even if it's glaring out at you.
Basically my real question here is would you consider yourself a strong person, or a weakling honest now.
Truthfully would have loved to amother but in this section it won't allow

Well, pretty much everything . It really depends on my mood or if I'm on a diet that tells me exactly what to eat. When I am (on a specific diet), I'm really good, but when I'm not, I'm really bad. _________________ Don't take whatever I say too seriously, this is entertainment for me .

I LOVE chocolate thats #1. Then there is ice cream and cake and all the other good stuff.
When I am at my best, I can sit in front of a hot chocolate fountain or whatever and not touch a thing..However if I am weak, I can be sooo bad.

is one allowed to give into their food taivos when pregnant, or is that just an excuse? I was told it may be good for the baby, but
Sometimes cravings can be embarrassing.
I was so desperate for a bean burrito that I learned to make tortillas...I felt like I was going mad, and was calculating what I'd have to do to get one...(now, soak the beans overnight...get money out of the bank for cheese, learn to make tortillas)
but thanks to that, we can have tortillas all the time now..
but seriously, those cravings are really embarrassing! Like I feel like I HAVE to have it...

Being that the thread title got me to open it, I suppose I should be obligated to answer...
I like... cocoa pebbles, donuts from Tel Aviv bakery in Chicago, (yes it has to be so specific), those Israeli "milky" pudding/cream things, soft serve mixed ice cream from Nosh World with chocolate sprinkles.
And almost any real food that I didn't have to cook. Restaurant steak, sushi, hot dogs and hamburgers, wraps, panini, pizza... yum!
As long as there is no money, I'm no weakling to my taivos!
And when there is money, I take it as the reward for waiting so long!

See it's funny how my Yetzer Hora works or shall we say sad, but it manages to convince me.
1. It has a good hechsher, eat it whilst you can.
2. You're already overweight one or two more bars will not make such a difference.
3. There is actually a mitzvah here grab it, since you could be making a beracho and look how elevated it will make u feel once you have eaten it.
So now how I am supposed to counteract that argument.
As I still have those chocolates sitting in my fridge as opposed to on the counter , what now?

I am a starch addict. No matter what diet I am on or how much I try to stay away from it, they attract me like magnet. Cookies and cake just keep flying my way. Now, let me find that sad pathetic frowny with eyes rolling. _________________ Sunday social program forming in Brooklyn for children with social delays. Pm me for more info

Yeah Mimivan, that's my question too. The thing is - before I was pregnant, I was MUCH more careful with the quality of food I was eating and buying. No white flour, white sugar, artificial stuff, etc. Now, it seems I'm giving myself a free license to eat and buy anything. I eat chocolate almost daily and tons of white starches and I'm too tired to cook most of the time so we eat a lot of chicken nuggets, hot dogs, tivol, sandwiches, pizza, whatever takes under 10 minutes (preferably 5 min) to prepare. I cook for Shabbos though and a lot so I have leftovers for the family.
I wonder if I'm ever going to lose my pregnancy weight gain unless I can control myself from eating anything I want. Truthfully, my only "craving" was matzah pizza immediatly after Pesach and that lasted a few weeks. Nothing else I consumed was a real craving, I just wanted it. Okay, also a little Ben and Jerry's in the beginning.
I force the kids to wait for Shabbos for some of their favorite treats but I have double standards for myself. I'm weak!

Confession time...
I just ate a really yummy chocolate caramel bar called Crazy Choco-caramel that I buy in Israel (Zol Po has them) and they are so good. Good hechksher and there's only one left in the package and I'm not sure if I can control myself not to buy more...It's made in Germany and I'd like to avoid buying them for that reason alone but nothing else comes close...real dilemma here...

EXACTLY
I'm not necessarily a junkfood eater, but I love to eat a lot of whatever I made, the reasoning above is how I think.

I have no willpower when it comes to certain things. Seriously - none. If there is chocolate in the house, I will eat it. If there is nothing better, I will even eat the chocolate chips I keep in the freezer for baking. I also love licorice and jelly beans. And ice cream and cake and cookies.... I have eaten Nutella (a chocolate-hazelnut spread) and marshmellow fluff out of the container with a spoon. The only nosh I can control myself around is pretzels and potato chips (although I really like tortilla and terra chips). I keep trying to tell myself that if I can manage on a fast day or not have ice cream right after a fleishig meal then I should be able to control my taivos all other times too. Somehow that doesn't quite work.
