my mil froze a fruit soup for a whole year and it was delicious!!
it was strawberries, rhubarb, water, and jello cooked for a few hours.

What is the difference(if any) between fruit soup and compote? Compote freezes very well, though I prefer to jar them.
Fruit soup usually has s/t in it to make it creamy.

lucky, whats the difference with what you put in it?
If I put in apples, plums, strawberry,peach will it freeze well then?
Also how long a fridge life does it have?

you can add a beaten egg to a fruit soup. then I would not recommend to freeze it. but as long as it is only fruit, it freezes well. It can be in refrig. about 10 days.
