I don't know where you live, but if you like dulce de leche, you'd love the ice-cream here. There are so many different ice-creams with dulce de leche, not to mention so many baked goods with the cream.

Hagen Daz chocolate with peanut butter swirl
Both have nuts, both are banned in my house. But YUM!

There used to be a Baskin Robbin's flavor called chocolate truffle, which was (duh) chocolate with these amazing chocolate/raspberry trufflly globs in it-- does anyone know of any flavor like that in any brand? No wait-- don't tell me-- the results could be disasterous.

Peppermint ice cream for sure!! Only prob (although maybe it's a good thing) is that it's seasonal and limited to the winter months.....mmmmm peppermint ice cream from baskin robbins

OK fine, but don't blame me if you gain weight!
There might be something similar...Godiva now makes ice cream, and I saw in the supermarket they had chocolate with raspberry, or similar. Check it out, let me know how it was!

You mean Cajeta? I was in Mexico City last succos, and they ate 'em by the jars! We wanted to bring some home, but the kosher grocery was out of them...probably better off

Cajeta is the Dulce de leche sauce. They even smeared it on pancakes, and it was YUMMY!

Yeah, I asked my dh and he said that's what they call dulce de leche in Mexico. They put it on everything here.
Nothing to do with this thread, but I once went to this small restaurant that's called wafflemania, but at the time they weren't selling any waffles because they were out of dulce de leche  . That's how they serve it here. I thought it was the funniest and craziest thing!
