I guess it depends on what it is. If it's for my children and it's a necessity or a necessity for me, probably yes, but I'd have to ask because it never came up.

Non-edible is no issue for me at all, and neither is kitniyot.

Something "a dog wouldn't eat" is never a concern to me.

I also don't keep kitniyos anymore now that I'm married, bh.

I dont think kitniyos is ever a problem if you're not eating it. All perfumes have kitniyos and soaps and shampoos have too.

There are opinions that sikka (annointing) has the same halachas of eating, so that you are not allowed sikka with anything that it would be assur to eat, even if it's lo raui le'achilas kelev. Whether that includes kitniyos, I don't know. But we are makpid that all soaps, shampoos etc should be KLP.

Sephardi minhag is to be meikil with non-edibles, and Kitnioyot is not an issue for this (my) population either, depending on the kitniyot, depending on the country of origin.

Confused:Poll results don't make sense. I think the whole Willy and most of BP are very stringent with Kitniyos. Not sure about CH. Looks like they're a minority here then. OK. I learned something.

That's what those like R' Blumenkrantz made their life's work. They contact all the companies and find out ingredients.

Did you know that some commonly used toothpastes have real Treifus?

I'm not interested in kashrus of toothpaste and I'm not interested in those who won't use non-edible products that may contain chametz. Those are chumros I can understand.

I am asking specifically about safek kitniyos.
