I'll have to tell my husband you said that, it'll make him laugh. He's the one that cries at the end of every movie he sees. I often hand him a box of tissues right before the end. Amazingly, last night he watched one and didn't cry. I managed to make fun of that, too.

I cry at the end of every book I read. But now I'm way off topic.

well we can't let this slip by...what do you think the appropriate action to take is?

1. call your LOR
2. bash
3. delete your post
4. veer the whole thread off course
5. start a new thread
6. delete my post
7. some other Clarissa answer that I would never dream of

Hmm. I say #4. Let's veer the whole thread off course. My husband is a crybaby. I made really bad brownies tonight. My toddler ran around with crackers today and we're going to have to move, because our floors are just a blanket of chometz. Waaaaah.

eta: Where's Motek? I need a hug.

(well, we did finally agree about something the other day. I figure hugging is next)

chayitty, you just made me start craving lemonheads. Good thing hubby is not a crybaby, or he might be shedding tears for being sent to the grocery at this hour.

I can send my 3yo over with them. You don't have to pay her, but if she uses your bathroom and backs up your plumbing with toothbrushes (as she did at home a few weeks ago) please don't accept when I offer to pay you back.

Never had the pleasure. When mine were little they liked salty but that was about it...as for spicy, try dh when he takes a batch of scallions, puts them in his mouth like s moustache hanging out of each end, and takes a big bite...wow...hot...but he thrives on them...and the kids love to egg him on..."daddy isn't it too hot for you?"

Nothing more emotional than saying goodbye to a fine souffle, or even a description of one. This morning I bid adieu to a story about an omelette, and I was inconsolable, sniff sniff.

is anyone else seriously bugged by continuity errors in books? when the author changes the name of a character midway through or such like? It bugs me so much. Even in my kids' books.
