How often do u wash your kitchen floors?

every single day but I do have daily help and I dont let her use a mop.. she gets down on her hands and knees and scrubs with a shmatta...

you need a 2-3 x a week option.

Oh cmon, there are a lot of choices between every two weeks and erev Pesach. I am scared of my mop but I think I mop every other month or so.

My kitchen floor is made of a kind of material that gets dirty very easily...if it isn't cleaned more than once a day, it looks filthy....I have to go over it after every meal (just a swipe)..I have to mop the whole house every day...that's the way my floors are and my apartment is tiny.

Oh, nothing...Now I feel better about getting on the floor on my hands and knees sometimes instead of using a mop. I thought I was the only person to do that... Laughing

I mop once a week, for shabbos but it usually needs it more. stupid person that puts white tiles in the kitchen!!! B'H its a tiny kitchen so not much floor.

MIRIAMNECHAMA, thats your personal opinion, I pay my [gentile woman] well enough that if im particular about something she does it my way... if she has a problem with it I can find someone else...and it has nothing to do with how I treat her, its not like im standing over her with a whip for gods sake....

Ok, here's a practical question, for the people who actually mop. Where and how do you store your mop? Mine never dries and it gets funky if I leave it in the bucket. What do you do?

my floor is mopped 1x a week- but by my cleaning help- and I dont think it's fair to make her go down on her hands and knees- so she uses a mop.
sometimes afterwards, ill do touchups on my hands and knees and if she can't come and I do it myself, ill do it on my hands and knees.

I feel that if you're paying someone ten dollars an hour , you can ask them to get down on the floor and do a real job. I won't pay someone just to do a quick mop and leave the floor just ok. I like my floors sparkling and if I can't find someone to get down and wash them I will just do it myself.

Really then why are you all letting my husband climb on the roof to fix it. Open up your toilet and sewer when something gets stuck?? Move and shlep all your furniture?

Do I pity my husband no? Does he pity himself no? Has he chosen this job and figured that its worth for the money he is getting? YES

These cleaning help are not slaves. We did not force them to come work for use. We pay them and we ask they help us.
