| |
I had a bad feeling about letting my 3 yo make his own kiddush
Table cloth I bleached and am davening!
The challah cover is cream with white lace. used tide bleach pen on the cream 'body' of the challah cover, but it didnt work well on the lace. the hand-wash laundry soap turned some of it from purple to blue.
Any ideas? _________________ ~Rebecca

It was!!!!!!
There was a small hole in the plastic from a previous brush with havdalah candle sparks.
And the challah cover didnt come with a plastic cover!

You should buy a cover. Saves a lot of heartache.
Otherwise, the strongest detergent you have, let it soak, was as h ot as the material can take. And possibly repeat the process.

| Apply peroxide with a cotton ball or something, dab a little and wait and see....it disappears magically!! If it doesn't disappear completely at once try it again and wait a little and see what happens.... sometimes it takes a few tries, it gets lighter and lighter. Good luck!

If the challah cover can take hot water:
stretch the spot over the mouth of a heatproof bowl, hold in place with rubber bands or clothespins. put in the bathtub. Boil up a kettle of water. pour boiling water right onto the spot from a height of at least a foot, more if you can swing it. (Be careful not to splash yourself!) repeat if necessary, but it probably won't be.
This works for all fruit juices and all fabrics that can tolerate the heat.
