When we were growing up, my Parents always made a Tu-B'Shvat Seder.
My Dad would come home for lunch, and my Mom would cook a festive meal, and then she would put out a large selection of fruit and nuts, and we would say different Psukim for each type of fruit.
We had a lot of fun!!!

A couple of years ago, when Tu-B'Shvat came out on Shabbos (like this year), we went to my In-laws for Shabbos, and they did the same thing.

I Love this holiday! 'cuz I just love all the different types of dried fruit etc...

Pomegranates are ridiculously expensive at my greengrocer, but to my delight I found in the pantry a bottle of pomegranate juice I forgot I had.

It's not hard to get most of shiv'at haminim by us. wheat, barley, grape juice or wine, olives are all pretty standard pantry staples. dates, figs and pomegranates not so much, but dried dates and figs are available in most supermarkets, and pomegranate juice is becoming readily available, too.

what would be nicer would be to be able to get all these things that were actually grown in EY, not olives from Spain, dates from california, figs from turkey, grapes from Chile, pomegranates from Georgia (the country, not the state)...
