I have NEVER seen a sheitel that looked amazing after 3 years. Most of the time they look worn but people just can't afford to replace them which is understandable!

That's weird b/c I know I'm not alone in my experience. Maybe it's all that clean midwestern air Wink .

It is the air - that amother lived in NY (I was there for a week and my sheitel macher couldn't believe how dirty my shietel was and it was just was washed a few weeks before with no problems! Even my stockings that I wore for one day turned black and dirty - I had a shoe line!) and Miami which is known to kill sheitels from the heat. My good friend's shaitel in Miami was looking dead after a year or so only... I just took my sheitel that is 3.5 years old to get recut and styled and the sheitel macher who sells way more expensive ones was commenting how it looks brand new.

My sheitel macher told me that even custom curlies that are naturally curly hair are treated to make the curls last longer. Also each time I was my curly sheitels I put in frizz ease and mouse etc. Then I use a curling wand to make the curls lie really pretty. All that product and heat isn't good for the hair, and I am sure it must make the sheitel's life span shorter than that of a straight sheitel that just gets washed, air dried and a little heat at the end to pretty it up.

I was looking for a younger, lighter, longer, thinner, silkier, shinier, natural sheitel that will look good even after the first and twentieth wash & set.
"S.T Wigs" is what I was advised by the Insiders and fashion guru's (who also happen to be my sisters/ sis in laws!) from Kfar Chabad Israel to London to Crown Heights. They are in one word a DREAM!
