Nachas playgroup

I am looking into playgroups now, and heard of nachas playgroup that is run by suri eagle. does anyone know of it? please post if you do. thanks.

I had a kid there for 6 weeks, 6 years ago. Depends what your needs are... most some more info.

I want my kid to be in a happy, clean environment where he will be getting enough attention, while learning to grow more independent and learn to play nicely with others. why did you keep your kid there for only 6 weeks???

Because he came home with 2 bottles of ketchup all over him every day, and they wouldn’t help me with the toilet training even though they said, SURE we will… Well that was six years ago and I’m sure things changed if they’re still in business.

one thing that bothers me is that there are many kids there, and they say they divide the classes, but it looks like they play alot together, is that a problem? though the cleanliness does bother me, if my kid will be happy, then thats the ikkur. was your kid happy???

do you think they always say they will do things and then dont? meaning, they didnt help you with the training like they said they will, do you think they will do it in other areas? do they lie about your childrens behavior? do all playgroups do this?? I am so confused.....

I think you should find out info from someone who was there more recently, and maybe via pm's. this can turn into loshon hora b'rabim. for you, it would be pertinent info that you need for a constructive purpose. but for others it would not.

you are absolutely right, but I would like to find out who was there more recently. I would also like to question things about playgroups, and have others who send all over, to answer.
so please, if you have sent to nachas playgroup in the last year or so, please post here, and I will pm you.
and, if you send elsewhere, please let me know if it is possible for kids to recieve enough attention at playgroup.

all playgroups have issues. it's an iverstuffed underpaid situation... you need to pick what is priority for you and find a playgroup that shines at it.

for exmaple some moms freak out if the A&C is not stunning (I dont) and others freak out if their kid doesn't knwo the parsha (hello) I freak out if my kid sleeps in the stroller. Find what works for you.
