I'd want a community with breslovers that are open minded but very frum, ideally.

If not, a community that is like mine:
Chassidim, litvaks, sfardim, lubabs, russians, frenchies, israelis, americans, hispanics, etc... And everyone getting along. A community that is not all american, but that the americans (generic term for english speakers) are close knit and have community events, like nshei. A community where not everyone is the same, and where you hence don't have to be one specific type to fit in. Oh, and all charedi.
Which community in jerusalem is like that? Any?

Actually I decided that I wouldn't want to move to beitar. Those seperate buses REALLY bother me to no end.

I was once on the bus going to jerusalem and I pressed the button to get off. Anyway at the stop the bus driver opened the door in the front to let a couple of guys off and forgot to open the back door. I said driver please open the door. Nothing. I said it a little louder. NOthing. I had all the men turn around to me. And all I could think of is you men tell the busdriver to OPEN the door. And well finally the busdriver heard me and opened the door.

There are other stories with the seperate buses that really bother me in beitar. But this one really bothered me to no end.

Rechavia. I love it there. It's so close to town and other central places, yet you feel like you're miles away from all the busy life.

Rechavia? First of all it is soooo expensive. Second of all, away from busy life??? What about Ramban, Azza, Agron, Keren Hayesod??? There is major traffic at so many cross streets.

Well, I'm not actually buying there. This is if I had a choice. What I mean is that it's quiet. Yes ramban can be a pain if you're driving down there, but walking through all the little side streets it's really quiet, with some trees and it's just a nice atmosphere.

Ramot! And Ramot bet to be more specific. Well actually, any mized Ramot area would do: certain streets in Ramot bet, Ramot gimmel (Zarchi and side streets), Ramot 06, and specific areas in Ramot aleph (daf yomi, nerot shabat...).

We used to live in the Rova, but the prices are ridiculous! I told dh that I wouldn't want to pay it even if we could afford it out of principle! Sheesh! But it was a very special place to live and we miss many people and some of the spiritual perks that come with it.

That being said, I agree with those who have moved out to the boonies. Bigger apts, cheaper rent, great neighbors, for sure a better deal.

I don't know what the big deal is about the seperate seating on the buses, unless you get motion sick, which my dh does, but it works for him.
