| anyone out there know how to say "raison d'etre" in hebrew??? I'm writing something right now that I need to send out and ack! I can't remember the term...

thanks for your help! I don't know why, but these don't ring a bell--I feel like it's something else, but still haven't figured out what. oh well. I just rewrote to omit that word. thanks anyways! I appreciate it

English. what does the word mean (explain in English)?

| yes, I think "tachlit hachayim" is more accurate, or even שאיפת חיים
