V8 Splash Smoothies

I bought V8Splash Smoothies strawberry/banana flavor in a heimishe store in Boro Park. I did not check to see if there is a hechsher(as we assumed it was kosher-being sold in a real heimishe store).

Does anyone know if this actually kosher-I do not see a hechsher on the bottle.

Let me guess. You got it at Landau's. No, there is no hechsher, just like there is no hechsher on the jarred mushrooms they sell (Green Giant.)
I brought it to their attention several times but they didn't do anything about it.

Guys, check everything you buy for a hechsher.

Yeah, Gamzu, I bought it at Landau's Embarassed

A friend just told me it has a 1/2 moon K hechsher, which is not a good hechsher. I was debating if I should go back to Landau's but I guess not.

Take it back! Let them cater to the frum crowd if they want to serviceit.

Half-moon K is becoming more reliable, but I don't know which products are reliable as of now.

esp. if you didn't open it, bring it back. and if you did open it, try to bring it back anyway and complain that you trusted them...
