so for you people who live in a shabbos robe ... how many do you own ... on a 3 day yomtov what would you do if you only have 1 What

I only have one...I'm a recent "convert" to the Shabbos robe club.

With a three day Yom Tov, I wore some comfy washable clothes too. I couldn't imagine staying in a robe that long!

I have 3 robes. 2 were hand me downs, though. I lately started wearing a long slinky skirt, with a shell and sweater

I wore a combination of robe and clothing- for the days I went to shul I just ended up staying dressed. But I do have to mention that I took a velvet robe and was so extremely hot so I was actually more comfortable in my clothing.

I stopped wearing those typical "shabbos robes" ... but yes it was quite hot here ... and I felt gross especially cause of all the dancing ...

You need a wardrobe of robes. Winter, summer, and in between. And yes, enough for several days.

I have at least five winter shabbos robes and for the summer like three, only bec. it is harder to find nice summer robes.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Shabbos robes!!!

I have a lot of robes in the back of the closet, but only one per season that fits. But lichvod yom tov I wear a suit, except maybe for a few hours in the afternoon - so the robe waits 'til Shabbos. Anyway 3-day-yom-tov only comes once every few years (like this past R"H) 'round these parts.

I own 3 for summer and 3 winter and I have 2 maternity. I live in my robes.

huh green I usually get dressed though put on a robe after the shower before licht benchen, byt you should see my robe collection I have plenty bh maybe five for winter and 5 for summer if not more... and that's mainly cus I get them frm my darling sister whe she is done with them!!

why would you need more than one winter robe? All yomim tovim are in summer spring or fall, so I can see why you might want 2 or 3 lighter ones.

I have tons of robes. If that's what you wear for Shabbos, you don't only want one or 2. YOu want a selection.

Unfortunately I have a feeling my husband HATES Shabbos robes, but is afraid to say anything to me because he knows how exhausted I am on Shabbos night...so I only have one...wear it sometimes when I just can't deal...but lately I've been trying to wear clothes...found some very comfortable Shabbos clothes, so it is kind of a compromise. Wink

I just wore the one robe. but then I alternated. I don't feel comfortable walking around in a nightgown but this Tishrei I was more than likely not going anywhere anyway. If I go out I wear regular clothing and usually don't change so I wasn't always in my robe.

I have a hard time building a collection of robes. Usually the old ones are falling apart and then I get new ones but I try to have one weekday robe and one Shbbos robe around 2 for winter and 2 for summer.
