I dont know if I spelled it right, but I was just curious what you kids do in school for chai elul and/or what you do at home with them. I really want them to understand how special the day is. Thanks!

school didn't start yet for us, but since it's on shabbos anyway, I'll probably turn our afternoon shabbos party into a birthday party for the Besht and the Alter Rebbe, and say lchaim with them on grape juice.
otherwise we do the regular things here: make hachlatas, give extra Tzedaka (today before licht bentchin), daven extra nicely, have extra Ahavas Yisroel for each other.

| Thank you GR, I'm sorry I forgot we start school like 3 weeks before everyone else (in the world)thanks for letting me know what you do, I really want them to know. We made cupcakes and got little bottles of grapejuice so they can make lchaims at our shabbos party...thanks again, gut yom tov and gut shabbos!

Nothing, really, at home.
DH will do something in shul. I have my (block) shiur so we'll farbreng a little.
DD is seeing her friends off to seminary, so they're making a whole Shabbos out of it, but I doubt anything Chai Elul'dike will be mentioned.
