Chen, DD used to occasionally wear a uniform out of school. It was a paid-for, comfortable, acceptable look, and since she often had “clothes-issues”, it was an easy compromise.

For those who think uniforms are marvelous, if they're so wonderful, how come kids in day camp don't have a uniform?

Didn't you know that the C.H. boys' camps require all the kids to wear their camp shirt everyday? It's been this way for a few years now.

Some Day Camps require the children to wear the camp T-shirt each day, and almost all camps require them on trip days.

hey good question motek. I think it has to do with the formality part of uniforms.
a uniform is a formal way of dress, it's meant for school, but if they make a camp uniform from summery materials, sounds great to me.
the hassle of shopping will be over forever.

The girls camps in CH have uniforms. BR girls must wear the camp shirt ever day and Bnos Menachem must wear the camp shirt and no denim skirts.
