| Chen, DD used to occasionally wear a uniform out of school. It was a paid-for, comfortable, acceptable look, and since she often had “clothes-issues”, it was an easy compromise.

| For those who think uniforms are marvelous, if they're so wonderful, how come kids in day camp don't have a uniform?

Didn't you know that the C.H. boys' camps require all the kids to wear their camp shirt everyday? It's been this way for a few years now.

| Some Day Camps require the children to wear the camp T-shirt each day, and almost all camps require them on trip days.

hey good question motek. I think it has to do with the formality part of uniforms.
a uniform is a formal way of dress, it's meant for school, but if they make a camp uniform from summery materials, sounds great to me.
the hassle of shopping will be over forever.

| The girls camps in CH have uniforms. BR girls must wear the camp shirt ever day and Bnos Menachem must wear the camp shirt and no denim skirts.
