camp is to run around and have FUN ... not to sleep it off ... that points out to me that the counselors are lazy and unaccommodating - dif kids need dif things ...

Last year the camp was GREAT, awesome councelors.. This year they seem quiet and coldish.. it's weird.. oh well

some years are like that - especially when you have to import counsellors ... sorry ... hang in there for the bumpy ride ...

Not quite.....my daughter could carry on hysterically for hours only because her younger sibling bumped into her chair

Your doing a great job MM. I was raised by a single mom and have all the respect in the world for her!

I can't believe anyone would imply she isn't doing what's in her child's best interest. It's clear she's overstretched and yet managing to make things work. I don't know if I could do what she does. Instead of making her feel like she's somehow tramautizing her son, everyone should be giving her helpful suggestions. And if you have no constructive advice to offer, well then step away from your computer and go spend some quality time with your own child.

eh no worries I started my summer course today..

So a friend drops him off, seems to be les of an issue.
