My 11 month old baby boy is giving me such a hard time at nightime: he wakes up soooo often.
he goes to sleep at 7 and then wakes up at 12, 2 , 4, 6........
Im exhausted. Even if idont always get up because my husband does, I still wake up. We give him a bottle of water and thats the only way for him to fall back asleep till the next time.
I was advised to stop the bottle for him to learn the skill to fall back asleep by himself. I tried..... its sooo hard. He cries, we reassure him by going into his bedroom....still cries ...for hours...wakes my other child up....
Im really fed up!!! I need to sleep! I need him to sleep
I know hes teething badly so before he goes to bed I give him Paracetamol. Maybe I should give him more often. I dont know anymore.
Its so easy to say let him cry. at the same time I k now that might be the solution...
I took him to the doctor who said hes healthy and fine.
Please help a mother get her sanity back.

If this is only part of teething:

I don't know what Paracetamol is, but if it is anything like tylenol, it might be wearing off...

for instance if you gave tylenol at 11:30, by about 4 am it would be wearing off and the pain would return,so maybe you want to ask/think about giving more in the middle of the night...

Paracetamol is the same thing as tylenol.
I found that ibuprofen works better than paracetamol for teething and lasts for longer - might be worth trying.

Maybe it's time to move him out of your bedroom. If he wakes up, your husband can bring him to you for a feeding. If it's pain, topical oragel might work well for a little bit.

Could be a combination of teething and bad habit...
