I just got back from visiting my family- where my seven month old had tons of attention- now he REFUSES to let me put him on the floor to play- I have to hold him standing up- or else.....
any suggestions!!
could he be scared- cuz my family used to scare him cuz he would make the cutest face when he would be scared!

After an experience like that, he may need your reassurance...don't let them do that, it's not nice for the baby!!!

I would give it a few more days.. then you need to get tough.
Start off by putting him down, but staying with him, paying him attention. Then gradually wean him from that.
